Shangda Holds 2026 Safety Knowledge Competition

To further strengthen safety awareness among all employees, strengthen awareness of safety responsibilities across all positions, and foster a company-wide atmosphere of valuing, learning, and adhering to safety practices, Shangda  held 2026 Safety Knowledge Competition on June 23.

A total of eight teams participated in the competition, with a lineup closely aligned with the company’s workplace safety organizational structure. Each team consisted of leader, safety officers, workteam leaders, and production staff. In line with the specific responsibilities of each position, the competition featured differentiated assessment content, evaluating the professional safety knowledge of management precisely, safety supervision personnel, grassroots supervisors, and frontline operators—thus comprehensively testing safety competency and knowledge reserves at all levels.

All teams responded calmly and competed vigorously, fully demonstrating the employees’ solid safety expertise and positive spirit. After intense rounds, the Rolling Mill, Special Melting Plant, and Melting Plant won the first, second, and third team prizes respectively, while Jian Guoxin from the Special Melting Plant received the Individual Excellence Award for his profound safety knowledge. Following the competition, leaders from the company’s trade union and Safety Supervision Office presented awards to the winning teams and individuals.

This safety knowledge competition effectively promoted learning through competition and action through learning, successfully addressing gaps in safety knowledge across positions and reinforcing the safety responsibilities of all employees. Looking forward, Shangda will continue to regularly organize safety education activities, building a strong and reliable safety barrier for the company’s production operations.
